About the opportunity
The Business Development Manager (BDM) will be responsible for identifying new engagement opportunities both locally and internationally within the Faculty of Medicine and Health, building on existing relationships with industry, other government and non-government organisations, including identifying opportunities for commercialisation of university generated intellectual property (IP) and identifying and coordinating opportunities for within faculty and University-wide cross-faculty collaboration.

Commercial Development & Industry Partnerships (CDIP), as part of the Deputy Vice Chancellor Research (DVCR) Portfolio, is the commercial arm of the University responsible for the identification, protection and commercialisation of IP developed at the University. Its mission is to promote the technology, innovation and expertise generated by the University for social and economic impacts, proactively facilitate the interactions between researchers, industry and public sector and CDIP is committed to understand and find creative solutions to the special needs of each of these sectors.
