We’re looking for a driven healthcare sales / BD executive to join our vibrant telehealth startup and help make health care more accessible.
We are a local, well-funded startup that is helping to extend what is possible with telehealth. We do this by providing a web-based software solution for healthcare businesses to make it easy for them to set up video consultation services for their patients. Our customers love us because we make telehealth a business tool, integrate with their business processes, and provide the best clinical tools in video calls.
We’re a small, friendly and capable team that values people and technological excellence. As a company, we’ve recently spun out from our roots within CSIRO and have investment from Main Sequence Ventures – a major international investor.
We’ll be expanding quickly over the next year as we scale to meet growing customer demand, so it’s a great time to join the team and grow with us.
As our sales executive, your focus will be on selling our telehealth platform into large practices, NGOs, and private hospitals across Australia to support their business transformation.
Our sales executives hustle. They understand the need for speed at a high growth technology startup, but they also recognise that brute force is not always the best strategy. You will carefully identify the value that Coviu provides to organisations and tactfully leverage all manners of communication to get our platform in front of potential users and purchasing decision makers. Our sales executives understand that selling in healthcare requires a high level of professional and ethical conduct.
As we are a startup, your work will have flow over into other areas of the business. This may include the gathering of requirements from customers and leads and sharing of that information with the product management team; working on sales and marketing partnerships; or attending to stalls at conferences.
You’ll also be helping to build our sales and marketing culture by identifying and documenting best practices, identifying tools and helping develop our sales process.
You’ll be working out of our Sydney office at the Startup Hub alongside our business team on a full-time basis.
What we’re looking for
We are looking for someone who loves to sell and close the deal. More than that though, you’ll be looking to help make a real difference – we believe that telehealth enables better and fairer access to medical services and that by helping our customers grow their businesses using our software, we can be a part of a positive change in patients’ lives.
As a sales executive, you’ll embrace this mission and be comfortable with carrying a budget for the delivery of sales targets, but you should also love modern technology, customer service, and the possibilities that the cloud can offer in healthcare.
We value any existing connections you may already have with private practices, NGOs in healthcare, clinics and private hospitals and any understanding you have of technology needs in these businesses.
You will be working towards sales goals on a product that is already in the hands of paying customers and continues to evolve with exciting new features such as artificial intelligence algorithms for medical diagnostics support.
You will have excellent communication skills, the ability to contribute as part of a team, and are willing to learn every day as our product and industry continue to evolve.
